What If?

What if I forget your deep blue eyes,
That shine in light like midnight skies?

What if I forget your dreamy gaze,
That sent my mind into a maze?

What if I forget your dark brown hair,
That feels like silk on my hands bare?

What if I forget your soft smooth skin,
That flutters lightly when you grin?

What if I forget your stolen smile,
That is worth catching, for a while?

What if I forget your perfect lips,
That could demand a thousand ships?

What if I forget your trembling hands,
Polished by World’s finest sands?

What if I forget your dazzling thoughts,
That calmed me when I was distraught?

And if I forget your hands, eyes, skin,
And if I forget your thoughts, lips, grin,

Life will go on, there is no doubt,
But I will have nothing to ponder about.
